Upcoming IPOs with Shareholders Quota in 2025-2026
Allotment Strategies Masterclass

1. What is the Shareholder Quota?

When a subsidiary of an already-listed company launches an IPO, SEBI allows the issuer to reserve up to 10% of the public offer specifically for existing equity shareholders of the parent listed company.

2. The Multi-Application Advantage

In standard IPO rules, submitting two retail applications under the same PAN leads to automatic rejection. However, the Shareholder Quota is a statutory exception:
  • Application 1: Retail Category (up to ₹2,00,000).
  • Application 2: Shareholder Category (up to ₹2,00,000 or HNI limit).
  • Both applications are valid and evaluated independently in their respective lottery pools, effectively doubling your allocation chances.
