1. The short version
We never ask for or store your PAN, bank account, Demat client ID or OTP. Our allotment checker sends your PAN/application number directly to the relevant registrar's public lookup (KFintech, MUFG Intime, Bigshare) in your browser session — IPO Listing servers do not log or persist that value. We do use cookies for site preferences and for advertising, described below.
2. PAN and allotment lookups — never stored
When you use the allotment checker, your PAN or application number is used only to construct a query to the registrar's official status page or API for that session. IPO Listing does not write this value to any database, log file, or analytics event. Your watchlist and theme preference are stored only in your own browser's localStorage, not on our servers, and never leave your device unless you clear your browser data.
3. Cookies we use
- Essential/preference cookies — theme (light/dark) and layout preferences.
- Advertising cookies — we display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners (including those participating in the Google certified vendor list) may set and read cookies such as
__gads,__gpiand DoubleClick/IDE cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. - Analytics cookies — aggregated, anonymised traffic analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful, with IP addresses truncated/anonymised where the tool supports it.
4. Google AdSense & third-party vendors
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices.
5. Children's privacy
IPO Listing is intended for adults researching capital-market products and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted information to us via the contact form, email us and we will delete it.
6. Data retention
Contact-form submissions (name, email, message) sent to our support mailbox are retained only as long as needed to resolve your query, and are periodically purged. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics data may be retained longer to understand traffic trends. LocalStorage data lives entirely on your device and is under your control.
7. Your rights & removal requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (e.g. an email you sent us) by contacting support@ipodesk.example. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools or advertising partners change. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
